Sepia Saturday on the AT

We walked just a short distance on the Appalachian Trail from the parking area where it crosses Route 522. There's a boardwalk across Happy Creek.

I posted photos of the information signs here in May. This is near Front Royal, an Appalachian Trail Community.  If we had continued west from here, we would have climbed uphill and eventually reached Skyline Drive. Well, if we were in shape for that kind of hiking... I'm not, I run out of breath rather quickly when climbing mountains.

  5. I do so like the sepia effect and it works so well in this photo, just look at how the different shades / light work on the boardwalk. Just great!

    All the best Jan
