A Cold Day at Cool Spring

people standing outdoors

Last Saturday I attended a Civil War Seminar at Shenandoah University's Cool Spring Campus. Afterwards Jonathan Noyalas led a walking tour on the Battle of Cool Spring, which took place there in 1864.

Unfortunately, the day turned out to be uncomfortably cold, with strong winds blowing. Since I've done this tour before, I did not complete it this time but instead hurried back to my car after the third stop.

  2. Hi Linda, Looks like a wonderful experience although I can imagine how cold it felt. Those cold winds can cut us in half sometimes when we are hiking.

    Easter Blessings to you.
    Hugs,
