Cherry Blossom Time

When we visited the botanic garden in Palos Verdes on March 7, the annual Cherry Blossom Festival was in full swing. How pretty is the Japanese Flowering Cherry Tree!

This festival was small compared to the one in Washington, DC and there weren't as many cherry trees, but it still welcomed spring with enthusiasm.

  1. What gorgeous pinks.
Its a huge contrast to what is a totally grey dear here in England. I had been hoping to see the solar eclipse this morning but there is no chance, the sun is in hiding!
