A Church on the Walking Mall

Winchester, Virginia

street scene

brick churchLike some other cities, Winchester closed off a street to vehicle traffic to provide pedestrians an inviting place to stroll, shop, and dine. Winchester is in the northern part of the Shenandoah Valley about 75 miles from Washington, DC.

Here we see the First Presbyterian Church of Winchester.

  5. A pretty town with a lot of history. That's very much like you'd expect a Presbyterian church to look.

  10. I think churches located to where people are, are the best places to drop by for a short visit even at the middle of a hectic day. Very nice shot.
