Daylilies with White Garage

I saw these while waiting for Frank at a bank in Front Royal.  (Yes, he still does some banking in person. So old-fashioned!)

Daylilies thrive in Virginia, although sometimes deer eat the flowers.

  1. I bank in person too. I don't trust the big anonymous corporate 'bank', but I do trust the local bank staff. Good to remind myself that they're real people!

  5. When I was a kid, those flowers used to be right out our back door. We called them snake flowers because snakes used to hide in them.
