Look Up, Look Down: Sand Ridge Road

February in Western Shenandoah County

St. Matthews Church, West of Toms Brook, VA

Looking Down from the Church toward Back Road
I've driven down Back Road many times without noticing the Lutheran Church on Sand Ridge. It stood out against the snow and I noticed it was scenic. Then I drove up to see the view. That's Great North Mountain in the distance.

  5. What a beautiful church. Isn't it funny how we don't notice things and then all of a sudden we do? I'm glad you got such stunning shots to share with us... both up and down. :)
