Icy Branches


I took these pictures last week after an ice storm. There's another such storm heading for states south of here, and it's supposed to bring snow to Virginia tomorrow night.

Luckily the ice we saw last week melted the same day. I don't mind a little ice and snow as long as it doesn't stick around.

    Can you do us a favour though and stop sending those storms over the Atlantic, we're getting very wet in the UK.

  7. Truly lovely. Once it rained and froze like that here and EVERYTHING was coated....like a fairyland, but I could hardly walk the dog. She didn't like it either.

  14. beautiful!! we have a lot of ice also, at the jersey shore. the titmouse looks cold, sitting on that icy branch!!

  18. Very nice. We had a great time visiting our friends in Maryville and they told use the waterfalls were at their most spectacular ever during our visit to GSMNP.
