Wild Turkey Trio

Wild turkeys have made a comeback in Virginia. They have learned to live on the edges of the suburbs and their population has increased. Still, I haven't gotten many pictures of them. They seem shy of people.

We saw these turkeys crossing a road but by the time I pulled to the side and got my camera ready, they were disappearing into the woods.

  1. They were probably afraid you wanted to serve them for Thanksgiving dinner!! ;)

  2. Hope they escape being eaten!

  3. Great capture! I guess they knew it was Thanksgiving season:) Have a great Tday!

  4. Ha.. their shyness is what keeps them off of the dinner plate.

  6. We get them here too. I always like getting a glimpse of them.
