A Bridge Across Gooney Creek

Yes, there really is a Gooney Creek. It's south of Front Royal and runs into the South Fork of the Shenandoah.

I took these pictures in Browntown, Virginia, a quaint town in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The third photo shows the view from the middle of the bridge, looking in the same direction as the first picture.

  1. I love that third one. It's cool the way the trees frame the shot.

  2. Cool name and wow - what lovely scenery!

  3. I love the framing and light, and is also poetic beauty in these photos! Genial!

  4. Lovely photos - the way you frame a shot is brilliant!

  5. Huh!! Gooney Creek, that sure is a different name. Very pretty

The View from Squirrel Ridge features thousands of views of the Shenandoah Valley and surrounding area. I post frequently so please visit often.
