Soaring Vulture

Vultures are not pretty when you look at their faces but they soar so gracefully they are lovely to watch.   Once they catch the air currents they often float around in circles, so they are easier to catch in a photo than birds that dart across the scene and disappear.

    Dang you're good,.. everytime I try to get a picture if a bird, I end up getting air.

    This is a wonderful picture. I've never had much success getting pictures of birds in flight.
