Pattern in Gray

What is this? Not Lace...

Our front door has an etched design on the glass. We are looking through a portion of it here with the screen door behind it.

This was one of those pictures that I took on impulse just to see what it would look like. Ever do that?

  1. I think you have a door much like mine. I've never thought of taking a photo of it. I will now. :)

  2. I thought it was a window from a door.... only because I seen the screen.

  6. Interesting! Are there fifty shades of gray there? (Haven't read the book & don't know anything about it.)

  7. Hello Linda, stopped in from Shenandoah Gateway Farm blog. We live in a100+ year old home and also have a front door with an etched window. Ours is an elk, we think, which is really unusual since we currently live on the VA eastern shore where shorebirds are more common.
