Horses in a Reenactment

The most exciting things at a Civil War reenactment are often the horses and the cannon fire. This reenactment of the Battle of Port Republic featured only a few horses, but some of those paraded past us handsomely.

  2. Indeed! I like watching the men on horseback -- women too. (There are a surprising number of women dressed as soldiers in the reenactments.)
