Grand Canyon

Marie just returned from the Grand Canyon and she's been writing about her rafting trip on her blog. She mentioned our trip there almost 20 years ago. So I found these pictures of her on that 1989 journey.
The right-hand photo won a small prize in the AOL Travel Photo Contest some years ago. The picture below shows Marie at a stable where we took a trail ride. I remember how the horse smell clung to our clothes so much we had to wash them even though we were only there a couple of days.

    See how clear the view was? It's hazy now.

    And what's with that haircut? Ugh! The things they used to do to me at the Vidal Sassoon student nights.
