Historic Ellwood

Here are a couple of pictures I took in 2005 of Ellwood. This historic home near Wilderness Battlefield is probably best known as the place where Stonewall Jackson's arm was buried.

To the left is a photograph of the memorial marking the spot where Jackson's arm was buried after it was amputated. Jackson was transported to Guinea Station, where he eventually succumbed to pneumonia.
