We took Benny to a dog trainer just north of Harrisonburg this morning. This was the first time he's been to a trainer since he was a puppy, and that time it took him two weeks to learn "sit." Today he did okay although he was afraid to go in the building when we got there. Our homework is to reward him for paying attention and obeying by giving him bits of food and also to introduce him to clicker training.
