In the third photo, we are looking toward Cedar Creek. I imagine that if you could go up to the top level during a reenactment, you could see smoke rising from cannons on the battlefield.

ReplyDeleteI can't get enough of mountains and hills and valleys after our half year stay in flatland Florida. I don't think about how much I missed them while I'm there, but as soon as we hit the mountain states in our way back to Oregon ...then I know. So I loved seeing your beautiful Shenadoah ...even virtually.
