Wild Geese

Normally our Canada Geese appear serene, but they have been feisty lately. To me it looks like they are courting, although January seems early for this behavior. Perhaps the recent warm days make them think it's almost spring!

    1. Well, they don't belong to anyone so yes! And they act pretty wild when they feel certain instincts kick in!

  4. It looks like they're raring to go.

I was surprised some days ago to see one among the numerous ducks that spend the winter here.

  5. I know eagles mate in January...perhaps the ducks do as well.
