Happy Creek Swallows Its Banks


The snow is melting and that means water everywhere. Front Royal had 32 inches of snow, and now it's down to ankle-height.

Today I took these pictures of Happy Creek near the stadium. The creek is out of its banks.  With rain in the weather forecast, flooding is likely.

    Dangerous conditions this time of year. Those waters can be problematic and swift.

    Lots of early winter flooding here, I imagine it will be a very wet spring.

    I'm glad to hear the snow is melting, but I hope it slows down so that the flooding doesn't become a problem.
