The name Sherando is related to the name Shenandoah and the exact origin of the word is the subject of a number of possible histories.This park is located between Stephens City and Dinosaur Land. It features various athletic fields, picnic areas, a playground, and a lake.

The reflections are so beautifully clear in the first photo. It looks like a very inviting area for a good walk, especially with the charming bridge. I'm not entirely sure why, but I like bridges!
