We're getting our roof re-shingled. A team from Tidewater Exteriors of Front Royal came Saturday and removed the old shingles, but there was a problem with the supplier and the shingles did not come. Monday all this should be straightened out and the roof finished.
Our dogs were concerned when they heard men on the roof, but they only barked for a little while.

ReplyDeleteI'm wondering if you were satisfied with the re-shingle job by Tidewater Exteriors. They re-shingled my roof in December 2005 and it hasn't stopped leaking since. This week I am having it redone and the new roofers showed me some really big mistakes left by Tidewater. This morning I started researching to find out if I'm the only customer they mistreated. That's when I found your posting.Did they do a good job on your roof?

Yes, we were satisfied AFTER they came back and recaulked the flashing. See my November 06 post 'Too much water.'
