It is June and the weather is warm enough to relax by the water. Geese like to hang out by our neighborhood pond.

The other day I stopped by the boat landing at Eastham Park and saw this young woman letting her dogs play in the Shenandoah River.
Today I saw another young woman with a dog. This was also by the Shenandoah, but it was at the boat landing on Indian Hollow Road. She had just convinced her dog to come out of the river. Not far from there I spotted a pretty butterfly.
As for the final picture, I felt like the folks in the boat needed a pet, so I put one there using Photoshop.
