Long Branch Baptist Church
This limestone church stands on a hill in the small town of Halfway, Virginia. The town is so named because it is halfway between Middleburg and The Plains.

It’s location interests me as I have been to both of those pretty towns. If I am not mistaken, I seem to remember driving through Halfway. There was a field of goats nearby.
ReplyDeleteSeems likely. It is farm country.
Delete...wonderful stone work.
ReplyDeleteThat looks quite distinctive!
ReplyDeleteNeat NAME..., I knew I hadn't heard of that name of a town in Virginia --or anywhere! I guess the people who live in Halfway either have to choose which town to visit...ha
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
