4. The arts center in Mt. Jackson (below) has closed. We were sad to read of this so we made one last visit in December. I purchased a nice framed collage at a sale price.

ReplyDeleteI posted an interior shot 3 years ago. It was for sale for a long time! https://webcroft.blogspot.com/2013/11/on-market-strasburg-theater.html
DeleteThe closed art museum looks like a home I lived in as a child.
ReplyDeleteYes, it was a private. It is beautiful inside, with quality woodwork.
DeleteThe snow is a welcome sight!
ReplyDeleteSo glad the theatre will be a church. But sad about the arts center closing. I'm sure Jesus doesn't mind about his backwards J! :-)
ReplyDeleteRight, he was all about tolerance!
DeleteLots going on in your lovely area -- most of it good.
ReplyDeleteYou stenciled signs - #5 . . makin' me laugh.
ReplyDeleteThank You!
I love that sky view in the first shot.
ReplyDeletethe branch over the water is quite amazing :)
ReplyDeleteinteresting about the stenciled signs but weird about the backwards j...wonder why? nice use of the old theater! how much snow did you end up with? thanks for linking linda and have a great week ahead...temps are supposed to warm up later this week!
ReplyDeleteWe only had a couple inches of snow, but it's been frigid! I suspect the J was backwards because the painter had to figure out how to work with stencils.
DeleteGreat shots. The Arts Centre looks great.
