A Dam in December

Bridgewater, Virginia
We've visited Wildwood Park in Bridgewater a number of times. The sound of the North River tumbling over the dam is impressive and the park offers a pleasant place to walk and watch birds.

    A fine photo. The water is mirror calm above the dam, and beautifully turbulent below.

    There's a similar structure on a river up this way- not that high a dam, just like this.
