Pretty Pink Petals



Frank's sister is visiting and wanted to visit a historic home so we took her to Oatlands near Leesburg a few days ago. The gardens are lovely!

I went there with a garden club in 2010 and Frank was there many years ago, but it's worth seeing more than once.

    Garden clubs are so different season to season and from year to year so yes, definitely worth seeing more than once.

    Gorgeous flowers... Must be a great historic home. I read that it is an 1803 plantation and gardens. WOW--I'd love to see it!!!! Gorgeous pictures of the flowers...

    Gorgeous flowers.
    We went to Oatlands last year, I want to go back again. Such a pleasant place to be, walking around the grounds. The tour was wonderful, beautiful place.

    Different colors evoke different emotions. I think "tickle me pink" is an apt description of how pink makes a person feel! :-) Lovely pink flowers!
