Wildflower Weekend Walk
It was Wildflower Weekend at Shenandoah National Park so on Saturday afternoon we drove up to Franklin Cliffs for a Wildflower Walk conducted with Rob and Ann Simpson. Both are nature photographers, naturalists, authors and teachers at Lord Fairfax Community College. I took a photography class taught by Rob Simpson about nine years ago, so I knew he's a good teacher.
I've written about some books featuring the Simpson's excellent photography: one on birds and one called Shenandoah National Park — Simply Beautiful.
