The Artist

Today in Winchester

I had two appointments today and stopped to eat a snack in between. I parked in one of the lots for the trails at the Museum of Shenandoah Valley, where I could sit and look at wildflowers. I watched this young woman set up her easel and begin to paint.

By the way, I finally saw an orthopedic doctor this morning for my back pain. They took an x-ray and he said I have spondylolisthesis. It’s not the serious grade of the condition, but it does help me understand why my back is still hurting.

  1. ...spondylolisthesis is a tongue twister.

  4. Of course I had to look it up. Wow, that indeed would make for back pain. I hope there's a possibility of it healing.
