Cords and Shadows
I took this picture while I was waiting at Urgent Care in Mount Johnson. I had a cut on my arm that was too jagged to just bandage up. My dog had scraped back a flap of skin with his sharp nails when he leaped on me in excitement. Since then, I had his nails filed instead of just clipped like before. My skin has gotten thinner as I’ve gotten older.
The urgent care center there was very efficient and the people were pleasant.

I'm so sorry about your health issues, but this latest one certainly gave you a great photo-op! It's a really good image.
ReplyDeleteYour creative mind was in high gear. Sorry to hear of your injury.
ReplyDeleteI tore a nice triangle of skin back with the corner of a box I was cutting down for recycing. It hurt, and then hurt much worse when I washed it out. However, I pulled the skin back over the cut and with antibiotic cream and banddaids for a week, it's now healed completely up. Gotta remember the wash (and pain) is worth it! Glad you've figured out a good way to keep Charlie's nails at bay. Hope your cut has healed too!
ReplyDelete...many of us spend too much time in doctor offices.
