Reenactor and Son

Middletown, VA

I didn’t go to the reenactment of the Battle of Cedar Creek last weekend because I’ve seen it a couple of times. But I did drive through Middletown the day before. I saw this man in Civil War garb walking with his small son, and I thought it was cute.

It was also anachronistic. That shows up better in the next shot, especially in full color.

  5. What a charming moment you captured in Middletown! It’s always lovely to see history come to life, even if it’s a bit anachronistic. The contrast of past and present makes for a delightful scene! 👨‍👦✨ Read my new blog post: https://www.melodyjacob.com/
