Mount Jackson Town Hall
Monday Murals / Blue Monday |
Originally known as Mount Pleasant, the town was renamed in 1826 for Andrew Jackson. The town hall/visitors center is in an attractive modern building designed to look like an old-style railroad station.
Hello,
ReplyDeleteI would like to see the covered bridge. Happy Valentine's Day, have a great day!
He always looks unhappy.
ReplyDelete...I would like to see the covered bridge too!
ReplyDeleteWe have a suburb in Perth called "Mount Pleasant". Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Linda.
ReplyDeleteOh, I’ve posted pictures of the covered bridge before. Here is a link: https://webcroft.blogspot.com/2022/08/wooden-bridge-reopened-to-traffic.html
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice place to put a mural of Jackson.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely mural and I haven't seen a covered bridge in a long time. Thanks for the link!
ReplyDeleteNice mural.
ReplyDeleteSeems a little unkind to put the town's namesake on the floor. LOL. It is a nice mural with that bridge -- you have showed us that one before; and I love seeing them .
ReplyDeleteAt least no one is walking on his face. Nicely captured, Linda.
