What a great architecture photography
ReplyDeleteI like that entry.
ReplyDeleteInteresting cemetery gate
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteThe cemetery gate is beautiful. Take care, have a great day!
Interesting that it's called "Our" Soldiers Cemetery.
ReplyDelete...I love cemeteries and this arched sign.
ReplyDeleteSad to think of those soldiers dying in the hospital, rather than at home, but definitely a better place than the battlefields.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how long it will take for someone to insist this history be erased along with all the others who honor those who died in the war between the states. It's sad that we can't learn the lessons there are to be had without trying to erase the history that taught those lessons.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2023/01/shakshuka-love-this-dish.html
Whenever I come across a similar type of memorial I always take time out for a minute or two of thought and reflections.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great cemetery gate. And thank you the photo of the marker, so that we got some historical content. :)
