ReplyDeleteWe had a washer just like that when I was a kid (1950s). It sat against the wall near the edge of the back porch, so it was easy to unhook the hose and drain the water out.

Love the foxy finishing photo. I think of all the sweat from some woman working the washer, and some man (probably) working the tractor! And the people moved on, but left their machines.
