House finch, Cardinals, Robin
After some chilly days and frosty nights, it was nice to have a warm afternoon. I sat out on the deck at lunchtime and saw a hummingbird but did not get a picture. Later I took my trusty old Nikon out there and sat down looking for birds. The hummingbird did not come back but since my camera has a strong zoom lens, I was able to get pictures of birds in my neighbor’s yard.
This evening I was able to transfer them to my iPad using a new card reader/lightning adapter. It took a few tries but I was pleased that I was able to do it even though the instruction sheet was not very good.
Hello. Handsome birds. Wonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteGood work Linda. I'm pleased to hear you have got to grips with new tech.
ReplyDeleteThere will be other opportunities for hummingbird pictures, and I'll look forward to them.
ReplyDeleteHello, Linda

The technology today for photography is great, isn't it? I really enjoyed the close-up images!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up this weekend! Always appreciate your input.
Ps...I just read your comment about your great grandmother campaigning to save the egrets!! How awesome is that?!!

I’m very impressed with your lens, Linda. You caught wonderful shots. I’m glad to know that photos can be transferred to the iPad. That’s my only “computer” these days.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful birds.
ReplyDeleteNice captures, especially the house finch with the seed in his mouth. Counting the days until the hummers return to my New York State backyard. Thinking less than a week now. We saw a rose breasted grosbeak today at our feeder, fresh from its spring migration. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
