This winter mural is in the children's section of the Shenandoah County Library. Note that Mr. Deer has a scarf to keep warm.
Monday Murals |
Yesterday snow began to fall around mid-day and at night it turned to sleet and ice. We got about five inches of snow with a hard crust of slippery ice. I was glad I did not have to go anywhere, although by afternoon a mail truck showed up with a package. He also picked up a box that had been delivered here by mistake on Saturday. I was surprised that he knew about it already because I had left a message after the post office had closed on Saturday and today was a holiday.
...perfect for a children's library.
ReplyDeleteThe children will love the mural. Stay warm and stay safe.

Ach! Can you imagine trying to make all those deliveries under such conditions?!
ReplyDeleteLove the cute mural. Take care, have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteWho knew the postal service would go the extra mile.
ReplyDeleteCute library mural. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Linda.
ReplyDeleteHere the Post office decided to deliver letters only every second day, to be able to deliver parcels daily, as obviously they bring in more revenue.
Keep warm :)
Our driveway and walks have about 5 inches on them. Maintenance man is just now starting his snowblower. I guess getting the walkways to the office and mailboxes will be early need...but I expect an Amazon delivery of more masks...ordered just before the national "free masks on your insurance" came out.
ReplyDeleteSorry about confusion, it's free tests on your insurance, I'm pretty sure.
DeleteThe mural is pretty and looks great in the library.
ReplyDeleteLove that mural and that big buck. The children will be so happy to see it, too.
ReplyDeleteGlad to know about Amazon and the USPS's packaging practices. Stay safe and warm, Linda.
A lovely mural.
ReplyDeleteLinda - an adorable mural!
