The town of Montross is now known for murals. While Frank was conducting business there last week, I walked through town and took pictures of these large paintings, which I will share in a series of Monday posts, starting with this one. I could not get a straight-on shot because a tree would have blocked half the painting.
Here is a collage of wild animals in the mural. Deer and wild turkeys are plentiful in Virginia and have learned to live near people.
Linda - I love the 3-D aspect of this mural. We have had a female turkey hanging around our yard for the last few days ... she is not shy at all! Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday, and I look forward to seeing more murals in the weeks to come!

...a beauty!
ReplyDeleteWonderfully done.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done Linda. A lot of wild animals in Australia seem to have learned to live in the cities. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals.
ReplyDeleteGreat mural...it would be a good idea for the owners to trim the tree a bit! I love the turkey's wings going beyond the frame!
ReplyDeleteNeautiful mural!
ReplyDeleteThis is an attractive mural because of the subject of wildlife. You did a good job in photographing it and presenting details of the creatures.
ReplyDeleteWonderful mural.
ReplyDeleteWe have wild turkeys too. Always fun to see.
