Wall of Woodpeckers

This huge woodpecker mural is in downtown Front Royal.
I used the pan feature on my cell phone so the building may look curved, but it is not.

The mural is on the side of a woodworking business on Main Street.

Mosaic Monday. Let's look at some woodpeckers that were attracted to my feeders: Red-bellied woodpecker, downy woodpecker, flicker, and pileated woodpecker.

While we're at it, here are some squirrels. They love my feeders so I have way too many pictures of them!

  1. This building and your mosaic are for the birds (grin). Beautiful, colorful, enchanting. What a great way to display that mural. It's a beauty.

  2. Linda - you have squirrels, too! My favorite woodpecker is the pileated - so massive! Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday!

  3. The businesses in your region have created ways of advertising their products and trades. I love anything to do with wood, nature and art so thank you for sharing.

  6. Great mural...and woodworkers probably curse woodpeckers some of the time...or maybe not.

  10. If the woodpecker on the bottom right were blue, it would look like Woody Woodpecker. I thought Woody was cute but too annoying to watch. See what your post brought out of my memory box, Linda. :-)

  11. That is a sweet mural and it’s cool you know how to get it all in one shot. But I will take your real ones over the mural any day! Lucky you!

  14. Super beautiful photography. Here in my area they are not squirels and in the forest they are always too quick for me :)) and I am glad they come to visit a lot in your garden. Because then I can also enjoy it with the other visitors.
