New Trails in Winchester.

A new trail system has opened next to the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley. It crosses a farm field and goes into the woods.

There's a new entrance with additional parking too. You have to drive slowly because there are pedestrians, dogs, and cows to watch out for.

There is artwork along the route, with more to come as the park grows. I only walked a short distance on the trail.

  4. Pretty scenic photos!
13mph is kind of strange - why not 10 or 15, though I once saw a speed limit of 8 in a National Park.
    Have a blessed day!

  5. Loved the shot with the long wavy shadows from the fence...as well as the last one of the fire hydrant so well disguised!

  6. The cow crossing sign is new to me. Love the speed sign, never saw one like that. 13mph made me laugh.

  7. Looks like such a nice trail to visit. I'm glad that you were able to go. 13mph? That seems oddly specific. Why not 10 or 15mph? It gave me a chuckle. Have a wonderful weekend.

  9. That's exciting to discover new trails!
    13 is a very attention-grabbing speed sign!

We often see signs that warn of stock wandering on the roads. They are usually the best ones for finding critters :)

A lovely addition to 'My Corner of the World' this week! Thanks for linking!
