Cloudy Mural on a Sunny Day.
First things first: Voting Matters! We had early voting in Virginia so
we went and avoided large crowds, an important consideration during a
pandemic.
I drove into Front Royal today to view the new mural on Cloud Street at the corner of Main Street. Yes, this is a cloud painting on Cloud Street!
Here are a few other scenes from downtown Front Royal. If you've only come
through town on the bypass, you missed Main Street. Come back and visit!

Beautiful murals. You’re darn tootin voting is important! We voted at home like everybody in Oregon does every time and received an email from the county clerks office saying our ballots were received. (We used an official drop box last week, rather than the mail, just in case.)
ReplyDeleteEveryone should vote - it's a responsibility. I am a big fan of murals and a blue sky on the wall is an optimitic view.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI love the cloud mural, very pretty. The flowers are beautiful. We have to vote like our lives depends on it, because it does. Take care! Have a happy new week!
I've never heard of a Cloud St. so this is new to me, and how fun to have the mural of clouds! They did an excellent job. Yes, today is a very important election day, and I voted a few weeks ago. I expect results won't be complete for a while however.
ReplyDeleteLove the mural! We all voted early here too :)
ReplyDelete...nice mural, but voting sure does matter.
ReplyDeleteClouds on Cloud street, how appropriate :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for participating Linda.
We are waiting for your results with anticipation...
What a cute little voting buddy. The cloud mural is so pretty, and love that it is on Cloud Street. Chris and Melissa did a fantastic job. They must have had a great sense of accomplishment. I liked your collage of Front Royal. I haven’t been there in a couple of years. We need to take a ride out there when things start settling down.
ReplyDeleteThose clouds are very realistic. Nice idea to complement the street name.
ReplyDeleteLovely murals!
ReplyDeleteNice! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteNice murals! Glad you were able to vote early. Here in Oregon we've been doing vote by mail for years and it is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing artists at work!
ReplyDeleteClouds on Cloud street, very original and funny. We had early voting until the storm blew through and knocked out the power for 4 days so that ended that. We went yesterday and I was thankful the line was short and moved along quickly.
ReplyDeleteDawn aka Spatulas On Parade
The clouds will feel very much at home there Linda ☁️⛅☁️
ReplyDeleteLinda - in Montana, all ballots were mailed out and we had the choice to mail them back or drop them off. I erred on the side of caution and dropped mine off - no lines!!! Beautiful cloud mural - the "light" was painted very effectively. Do you suppose they get paid for this? Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday!
