As a public health precaution this trailhead and parking lot are temporarily closed."
The park service is currently looking into a phased re-opening. They plan to open entrances, rest rooms, and some trails. Campgrounds and picnic areas will remain closed until it is considered safe to reopen them.
Trailheads outside the park (like this one) will not open yet due to concerns of local officials about overcrowding and parking.
Nice photos. Local town parks are still closed here in Connecticut, but most state parks were kept open, with social distancing required. Masks required at places like grocery stores, where social distancing can't be maintained.
ReplyDelete...Linda you found a wonderful ghost from the past! Too many people don't understand that they may become a ghost if they don't wear a mask! Thanks for stopping by, stay safe.
ReplyDeleteLove finding those old building signs...back before neon ever came on the scene. Some of our trails have opened. But parking is limited.

It's such a shame the parks have to be closed. The world has changed so much these last few months.
ReplyDeleteI love that ghost sign. Wearing a mask is being smart and respectful to others. Have a wonderful weekend, Linda.
ReplyDeleteLove the blue sky in your third photograph.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
