I took the cloudy day pictures a few days ago and the sunny pictures today. Strasburg's Town Park lies between Queen Street and the North Fork of the Shenandoah.
At the Riverwalk, a sign provides further instruction. Mostly this is common sense, like "Wash your hands frequently."
The tot lot is named Signal Knob Playground. From here you have a fine view of Signal Knob, the north end of the Massanutten Range. Here the mountain slopes down to the river.

Yes all those rules apply here also and most people are sticking to them. I go out walking early so there are never many people so that is good. Stay Safe and have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteYou have beautiful places where you can exercise. The public health signs are interesting. We are getting the same advice here, but as we have not been able to go out we see them communicated frequently in between television programmes. Wishing you a good weekend.

Hello, the rules and signs are important. I hope people are following the orders. Taking a walk outside is important to me. Pretty scenes and views. Take care, wishing you a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteSimilar rules here.
ReplyDelete...and think that all of this social distancing stuff just dawned on the Governor of Georgia. Thanks Linda, take care there are a lot crazies out there.
ReplyDeleteHow nice to see your views of mountains and park. Keep safe.
ReplyDeleteThe playgrounds in Tennessee have been closed as well, although the parks and greenways are still open. But I have seen more people out walking now, which is probably a good thing.
ReplyDeleteThe rules are the same here too. The river walk looks like a nice place to pratice social distancing.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day!
I've got some pictures like this, but of course, yours are better.
ReplyDeleteGood to see those signs. Lovely place for a walk. The 10 feet makes sense to me. Can't wait to get up there again but I'm thinking it will be a while.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the first blooming trees and shrubs of the spring.
