I didn't get a close look at these birds. I saw them flying overhead.

Bunches of Birds.
These white geese live as wild birds but do not fly very far. I believe they are descended from farm geese who made their way to our neighborhood lake and decided to stay.
Canada Geese.
I didn't get a close look at these birds. I saw them flying overhead.

ReplyDeleteLove the second pic...so cute!
ReplyDeletewe sometimes have the white geese too, and I was thinking they were ducks all snuggled down next to the parking lot this week. Who knows...
ReplyDeleteLinda,
ReplyDeleteThe flock of birds in the sky make a great silhouette. :) Thanks for joining my WildWednesdays linky party, darlin'! Have a good afternoon. ;)
The Canada geese are no doubt starting to think of northward migrations.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have wild white geese that I've ever seen where I live in upstate New York. I wonder if some of them were descendants of domesticated white geese as you speculate. But we have lots and lots of Canada Geese. Some live here all through the winter. I've been seeing them migrate back during this past February. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! I like the shot of the white geese on the bank the best.
