Inspired Sunday: This charming church is at the corner of Garlic Hollow Road and Headquarters Road, which is west of Edinburg, Virginia. This is St. John's United Church of Christ, founded in 1889.
It was a pretty day in farm country, so I got some pictures of barns and cows.

ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeletePretty church and views. I always love seeing the cattle. Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy new week!
...lovely church! The first barn sure needs a roof repair. In the barn picture the overhang is rarely seen in this area, it seems to be a south feature. Thanks Linda for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful church! Interesting barns. Always enjoy seeing cows.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
A very Beautiful day in farm country .. you are so right! Is there wild garlic growing there? (I love that name).
ReplyDeleteI don't know who gave it that unusual name. Since wild garlic grows all over Virginia, it is likely that it grows there.
DeleteSuch a lovely looking Church … and I especially like your last photograph.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
