A Mosaic in Flint Hill
A colorful mural is blossoming in Flint Hill, Virginia. This is a mosaic, carefully laid out on cardboard and then cemented to a wall by local artists.
The mural will be part of the Rappahannock Art Tour in early November.
I love that they placed a cat among the flowers. This is a nod to the cat rescue that shares their building.

ReplyDeleteWow is right! Wow! I've gotten used to thinking of mosaics and murals as being paintings that it took a moment for me to understand what you meant about the mosaic the artists are creating.
