I remember having milkweed growing along side our dirt road growing up and seeing the butterflies.
ReplyDeleteLove those purple shirts!
Glad to hear that the National Park Service is planting milkweed. I have yet to get any to grow in our yard. Fortunately, some of the flowers I've planted have attracted different types of butterflies. A big yellow type has flown through a couple of times. I think some monarchs flew through in the Spring when it was migration time.
ReplyDeleteThe license plate mural is neat. Glad to see the butterflies. You and Allison are both pretty in purple.
ReplyDeleteWonderful news about the butterflies! Love that mural...how clever.
