1. I recently got a Virginia State Parks Pass, good for a year. I celebrated by carrying lunch one day to eat at Shenandoah River State Park, even though it was an on-and-off rainy day. I felt good standing at Cullers Overlook as the wind swept across the valley!
2. When we crossed the Chesapeake Bay Bridge a few weeks ago, Frank was driving. So of course, I snapped a picture.
I planted these as bulbs a few years ago so they aren't really a surprise. The proper name is Lycoris squamigera.
The photo from the overlook is gorgeous, and I like the b&w bridge photo!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Naked Ladies! Mine are blooming. too.
ReplyDeleteVery good on the Black and White photo

Lovely! I love windy views - not that fond of rain though ;) Excellent bridge shot.
ReplyDelete...'naked ladies' is quite the name for a flower, in Hawaii there is a flower called 'sexy pink.' Thanks linda for stopping by, enjoy!
