The Village of Kings Crossing
If you enter Fort Valley through Edinburg Gap, you cross the mountain and wind down into the valley. You'll know you are in Fort Valley when you see a church and this building that looks like a former store. A sign over the door says "Town of Kings Crossing. Population 39."
Across the road is this nice-looking farm. There are numerous farms in "The Fort," and also a significant portion of National Forest land.
Fort Valley is a charming place! It's nestled in the Massanutten Mountains and feels a bit isolated. If you plan to come via Route 675 from Edinburg, be forewarned that there are hairpin turns. It's not recommended for tractor trailers or large RVs. But don't take Woodstock Tower Road instead; it's worse!

I remember one of those signs! And I foolishly carried on regardless pulling our small camper trailer. Almost didn't make it!
