Locke, Stock, and Rain Barrel
The rain barrel is on the right. This is Locke Store, established in 1836, in Millwood, Virginia. It's nicer on the inside than you might assume from the faded exterior. They sell deli items, desserts, and wine.

Sometimes faded exteriors tend to hide proverbial treasure chests inside!
ReplyDeleteI like your post title--haha! It does sound like it would be a neat place to go inside.
ReplyDeleteThis place would draw me in, it has a lot of character on the outside.
ReplyDeleteThis just goes to show that you can't judge a book -- or a deli -- by its cover.
ReplyDeleteI love stores like that one. So much character!
