The snow began after lunch today. We were out at the grocery picking up a few items. By the time we got home, it was coming down pretty hard.
This is Virginia. Spring should arrive any day now. I'm tired of winter weather!
The View from Squirrel Ridge features thousands of views of the Shenandoah Valley and surrounding area. I post frequently so please visit often.

ReplyDeleteWe have the same here, ours didn't start coming down until this evening and will go on all through the night. This should be the last of it. Can you see me keeping my fingers crossed? ;)
ReplyDeleteLove your photos, they are real pretty but poor duckies!
Sigh.. at least your ducks have water. We have a bout two feet of solid ice on our lake. I'm so ready for spring!
ReplyDeleteI happened upon your blog and enjoyed looking through your photos. We drove the Skyline Drive last summer and I fell in love with the Shenandoah and Blue Ridge area. So beautiful. Loved seeing your photos in another season.
ReplyDeleteI think the ducks are tired of the snow by now as well. Hopefully this will be the last of our Winter weather.
ReplyDeleteOh nooooooooo, more snow! Nice shots, but I still don't want any of it.
ReplyDeleteYou have managed to catch the mood. To me left a great impression of the photograph.
ReplyDeleteWith the very best greetings

Nice pictures - they have a water colour sort of feel - and they contain ducks!!

We had some snow but it was 37 so it melted and now we have a school delay because of some freezing rain that fell. So most of it missed us in SW VA.

ReplyDeleteyup, a snow day here too! oh well! and funny, the boys have their first baseball practice tomorrow lol
ReplyDeleteI am so tired of the snow. Now I am hoping for a long Spring to make up for the long Winter.
ReplyDeleteHere we are, middle of March, and Virginia of all places is getting a winter storm.
ReplyDeleteAre people planning on having that groundhog up in Pennsylvania drawn and quartered?
I'd be so tired of all the snow and winter weather by now. And I'm sure those ducks are ready too, for some Spring weather.
ReplyDeleteLeast it is not frozen
ReplyDeleteThose ducks look cold. Hope the sun comes back for you soon.
ReplyDeleteI hear you! Last yr I had buds on my magnolia tree this time. This yr still snowbanks 3ft high. However, the snow did make for a nice photo of the Canadian Geese.
