ReplyDeleteLinda...I just researched James River Water Gap. That is about 25miles on up the BRPway with the gigantic bridge going over the parkway and all the picnic tables and Otter Creek off to the left. We have been there many times...a favorite spot. This bridge is on state road 501 that goes from Glasgow to Lynchburg and the AT crosses it. It is a beautiful footbridge and built in honor of a gentleman who was very active in the NAtural Bridge Hiking Club, It used to carry his name on it, but now only reads James river Foot Bridge. Your picture today is so nice. A welcoming sky...peace and quiet. A beautiful vista. genie
