Wildflowers at Blandy

In May we went to the plant sale at the
State Arboretum of Virginia. I only bought a few things but we took the opportunity to visit the native plant garden. We've been there before but it's wonderful in springtime.

This arboretum is not far from Winchester and is also known as the Blandy Experimental Farm.

About an hour south of this "farm" is James Madison University's Carrier Arboretum in Harrisonburg, a lovely place. (See Spring at JMU's Arboretum.)
